Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has congratulated state para-badminton player Pallavi Kaluvehalli and her partner Alphia James for winning the bronze medal in the women’s doubles WH1-WH2 wheelchair badminton event at the Asian Para Games 2026 in Japan.
In a post on X, Shivakumar said the achievement was a proud milestone for Indian para-badminton and reflected the determination and perseverance of the country’s athletes.
Extending his congratulations to both players, the chief minister wished them continued success on the international stage, expressing hope that their achievements would inspire others and help break barriers in para-sports.
