Vadodara: India’s women’s cricket team completed a 3-0 clean sweep of the ODI series against Zimbabwe with a convincing eight-wicket victory in the third and final match.

Zimbabwe were bowled out for 131 in 39.5 overs after India’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance. Left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma led the attack with figures of 5/39, claiming her maiden five-wicket haul in international cricket. Sayali Satghare and Kranthi Gowd picked up two wickets each.

Modester Mupachikwa top-scored for Zimbabwe with 37 runs, while captain Josephine Nkomo contributed 35. The rest of the batting line-up struggled to build partnerships.

Chasing 132, India reached 133/2 in just 17 overs. Shafali Verma smashed an unbeaten 51 off 26 balls, while Prateeka Rawal remained not out on 59 off 56 deliveries.

The victory followed India’s 3-0 sweep in the T20 series, underlining the team’s dominance across both formats during the Zimbabwe tour.
