Vivo X Fold 6: Big Upgrades Leaked; Is This the Foldable to Beat?
New Delhi: Tech giant Vivo is likely to launch its next premium foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 6, in India soon. Ahead of its official debut, several key specifications have surfaced online, generating buzz in the tech space.
According to leaks, the device may feature a large 8.02-inch 2K foldable inner display along with a 6.51-inch outer screen. The display is expected to use Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) technology, offering improved durability while maintaining a slim and lightweight design similar to its predecessor.
On the performance front, the smartphone is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, promising flagship-level speed and efficiency, especially for gaming and multitasking.
In terms of optics, the phone could bring a major upgrade with a 200MP primary camera, supported by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor. For selfies, dual 20MP front cameras are expected.
The battery is another highlight, with reports suggesting a massive 7,000mAh capacity, along with support for wireless charging and water resistance.
For security, the device is likely to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.
The expected price of the Vivo X Fold 6 in India is around ₹1,59,999, and it may be launched globally, including in China, around June. Overall, Vivo appears set to intensify competition in the premium foldable smartphone segment.
