Bolero crashes into electric pole near Yadgir; three labourers killed

Yadgir (Karnataka): Three labourers were killed and eight others seriously injured after a Bolero vehicle crashed into an electric pole near Madnal in Shahapur taluk of Yadgir district.

The deceased have been identified as Bhagyashree (35), Sathamma (30) and Honningamma (18). They were reportedly travelling in the vehicle to work when the accident occurred.

According to preliminary information, the driver lost control of the Bolero, causing it to veer off the road and crash into an electric pole.

The impact left several occupants seriously injured. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

Officials and police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and initiated rescue operations.

A case has been registered at the Bheemarayanagudi police station. Police are investigating the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
