Gulf of Oman: Cargo Ship Fire Injures None, Crew Members Reported Stable
Oman: All 22 crew members aboard a cargo ship were rescued after it caught fire in the Gulf of Oman, the UAE Coast Guard said. The crew received first aid and were reported to be in stable condition. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
Separately, Iran claimed that two oil tankers caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz after hitting naval mines. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) alleged that the vessels were using an unauthorised route and had disabled their GPS and navigation systems. It also warned ships against violating regulations in the area.

In another incident, US Central Command said a military aircraft disabled the commercial vessel MV Huda after it allegedly attempted to breach a naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman. The St Kitts-flagged vessel was reportedly returning from an Iranian port.
