‘Ramayana is India’s dream project’: Yash says film helped him learn Hindi

New Delhi: Actor Yash on Saturday described his association with the much-awaited Ramayana as one of the most memorable experiences of his career, saying the film also gave him an opportunity to learn Hindi.

Speaking at the grand trailer launch of the film in New Delhi, Yash thanked producer Namit Malhotra for bringing him on board for the ambitious project. Attempting to address the audience in Hindi, the actor said, “Everyone here is speaking in Hindi. I will also try. This film and my role gave me an opportunity to learn the language.”

Calling Ramayana more than just a film, Yash said it is “India’s dream project” aimed at taking the timeless story of Lord Ram to audiences across the globe.

The star-studded trailer launch was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari, Sai Pallavi, Vivek Oberoi and several other personalities from the film industry.
