Hyderabad: Actor Ravi Teja’s film Irumudi has come under scrutiny after the Telangana Labour Department issued a notice to its producer, Mythri Movie Makers, over the alleged unlawful engagement of a child artiste during shooting and promotions.

The department has sought details on whether the producers obtained permission from the District Collector and deposited 20% of the child’s remuneration in a fixed deposit.

The notice also seeks records of her working hours, safety arrangements on the sets, parental consent and proof that her education was not disrupted by the filming schedule.
