Bengaluru: Actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty is on the lookout for fresh talent for his upcoming film under the banner of Rishab Shetty Films. Following the success of Kantara, the filmmaker is gearing up for another new story and has invited aspiring actors to audition for the project.
Sharing details on X, Rishab Shetty announced the opportunity for newcomers and encouraged aspiring performers to become part of his next cinematic venture.
“A new story is taking shape, and we are looking for fresh talent for this project. If you believe you have what it takes, this could be your opportunity to begin your journey in the world of cinema,” he said.
The auditions will be held on October 2 at Vijaya College in Jayanagar 4th Block, Bengaluru, from 9am to 6pm.
Both newcomers and experienced aspirants can participate in the audition. According to the announcement, candidates who are fluent in Kannada, particularly those comfortable with the North Karnataka dialect, will be given preference.
Rishab Shetty, who gained widespread recognition for Kantara for its portrayal of Karnataka’s culture, traditions and folklore, is now looking to bring new faces into his upcoming project.
The audition could provide an opportunity for aspiring actors who are looking to make their entry into the Kannada film industry. Further details about the film, including its title, cast and storyline, are yet to be announced.
