Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has extended his support to students protesting against the alleged NEET question paper leak, urging political parties not to politicise what he described as a movement led by students for a fair and transparent education system.
In a detailed post on social media, Salman praised the courage and determination of students protesting across the country while appealing to all stakeholders to keep politics away from the agitation.
Expressing concern over reports of violence during the protests, the actor said it was painful to see a movement that had begun peacefully turn violent. He said his thoughts were with the injured students and their families.
Calling question paper leaks a serious issue, Salman said it was encouraging to see students across the country unite for better educational standards with the support of their parents. He lauded their hard work, honesty and commitment to building a better future, adding that the younger generation would make India proud.

Emphasising that the issue was solely between students and the education system, Salman urged political parties not to use the protests for political gain. He said the credit for the movement should belong entirely to students and expressed confidence that the government would support them and strengthen the country’s education system.
The actor also shared his vision of India emerging as a global education hub, saying education should become the country’s defining strength and attract students from across the world in the years ahead.
