Veerkesari Belthangady marks 10 years with 210 successful service projects
Mangaluru: Social service organisation Veerkesari Belthangady has completed 10 years of service, marking the milestone by successfully carrying out 210 community service projects aimed at supporting education, healthcare and families in distress.
Founded with the motto “Social Service is Our Breath”, the organisation said it has become a platform for youth to engage in meaningful community service and inspire social responsibility.

As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, a programme was held in Mangaluru on July 28, during which six beneficiaries received financial assistance under projects numbered 205 to 210.
The beneficiaries included Jeevan K.S. (Bantwal), Pallavi (Ullal), Anita (Puttur) for her husband’s medical treatment, Pratiksha (Pavoor), Prathvish (Mangaluru) and Pranam (Mundur). Each received ₹10,000 towards higher education or medical expenses, taking the total assistance distributed under the latest projects to ₹60,000.
The organisers said the organisation’s decade-long journey reflects the power of collective service and youth participation in addressing social needs.

Businessman and philanthropist Sridhar Shetty attended the programme as the chief guest. Several dignitaries, including Former Lions Club President Rakesh Shetty, Satish Shetty – Convenor of Virakesari Belt Store, Yashasvini Indole Sheet Kambala is the name of its owner Ganesh, Bhuvi Hotel owner Prasad Bhanga Padmanabha Pujari, Prajwal Kumar, Praveen Inoli, prominent members of the Veerakesari group, Many leaders including Prasad Bhanga were present.
