Vedasandur: Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai participated in a tree-planting initiative in the Kottur area of Vedasandur constituency in Dindigul district, where 2,000 saplings were planted on behalf of volunteers from the WTL Foundation.
Expressing happiness over his participation in the initiative, Annamalai stressed the importance of environmental protection and collective efforts to build a greener future.
He said safeguarding the environment was the responsibility of every individual and emphasised that planting saplings alone was not enough. They must be nurtured and cared for until they grow into trees, helping create a healthier and more sustainable natural environment for future generations.
Annamalai called upon people to come together and contribute to environmental conservation, urging them to ensure that the saplings planted today grow into a lasting green legacy.
He said collective participation in such initiatives was essential to building a greener Tamil Nadu and preserving the state’s natural environment for generations to come.
