27 Killed, Over 63 Injured in Massive Bangkok Pub Fire
Bangkok: At least 27 people were killed and more than 63 others injured after a massive fire engulfed a pub in the Na Ladprao area of northern Bangkok in the early hours of Monday.
According to officials, the blaze spread rapidly through the building, trapping many people inside. Videos circulating on social media showed panicked patrons trying to escape as thick smoke and flames consumed the pub.
Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the scene and said several bodies were found near the restrooms at the rear of the building. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.

A musician who was performing at the venue said smoke was first seen rising from an electrical circuit breaker near the stage. Moments later, the power supply failed, followed by a loud explosion that filled the building with dense smoke, making evacuation extremely difficult.
Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said 63 injured people had been admitted to hospitals, with 22 in intensive care. Several people are still reported missing.
