Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam devotional film Harivarasanam is scheduled to release on January 15, coinciding with Makar Sankranti. Panorama Studios has announced the release date for the film, which revolves around devotion to Lord Ayyappa and the Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Swamy Temple.
Directed by Rajesh Nair, the film stars Saiju Kurup in the lead role. Filming began in early July, with the production team constructing an elaborate set modelled on the Sabarimala temple to recreate the setting central to the story.
With its devotional theme and Sabarimala backdrop, Harivarasanam is set to reach theatres during the Makar Sankranti festivities.
