Paris: Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti pulled off an upset by defeating Alexander Zverev 7-6(5), 6-2 in the Round of 32 at the Paris Masters.
Musetti secured the victory in one hour and 40 minutes, producing 29 winners and eight aces. He edged Zverev in the first-set tie-break before breaking the German’s serve twice in the second set to seal the match.

The win improved Musetti’s head-to-head record against Zverev to 4-2 and marked a significant result for the Italian, who has been struggling with an injury.
Zverev, meanwhile, has already secured qualification for the ATP Finals scheduled to take place later this month.
