Six Fishermen Rescued by Coast Guard off Mangaluru Coast
Mangaluru: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Tuesday rescued six fishermen from a fishing boat that encountered distress off the Mangaluru coast amid rough sea conditions.
According to officials, the Coast Guard launched an immediate search and rescue operation after receiving an emergency alert about the vessel. Responding swiftly, rescue teams located the boat and safely evacuated all six fishermen.
The fishermen were brought to safety without any injuries and were provided with the necessary assistance. Officials said the prompt response helped avert a potential maritime disaster.

The Indian Coast Guard also shared a video of the rescue operation on social media, showcasing the challenging conditions under which the mission was carried out.
