Chennai: The makers of ‘Pradhama Drishthiya Kuttakkar’, an upcoming Malayalam investigative thriller starring Parvathy Thiruvothu, have unveiled the film’s first-look motion poster, offering a glimpse into what promises to be an intense police drama.
Production house 11 Icons Film Productions shared the motion poster on Instagram with the tagline, “FIR has been registered, chargesheet will be out soon,” hinting at the film’s investigative theme.
The poster features four police officers in a tense setting, with Parvathy in the lead role. According to the makers, she portrays a woman who joins the police force after the death of her husband, a police officer who was killed in the line of duty.
The film also features Matthew Thomas, Unnimaya Prasad, Vijayaraghavan, Siddharth Bharathan and Aziz Nedumangad in pivotal roles.
Directed by Shahad, known for Prakashan Parakkatte, the film is based on a story by P.S. Subramanian and Vijesh Thottingal. It has been produced by Arjun Selva.
Principal photography was carried out across Kottayam, Changanassery and Kuttanad in Kerala. Mujeeb Majeed has composed the music, while Ruby Varghese Raj has handled the cinematography.
The makers have announced that ‘Pradhama Drishthiya Kuttakkar’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 11.
