Bengaluru: Rocking Star Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic’ has crossed the ₹300-crore mark in its opening week, earning an estimated ₹315 crore gross worldwide despite receiving mixed reviews.
The film opened strongly, recording ₹101.10 crore net in India on day one. Collections subsequently declined, with the film reportedly earning ₹37.65 crore on day two, ₹27.20 crore on day three, ₹25.15 crore on day four and ₹23 crore on day five.
‘Toxic’ has reportedly earned ₹229.60 crore net in India in its first seven days, with its domestic gross estimated at ₹274.25 crore.
The film has also performed well in overseas markets, where it is said to have grossed ₹40.75 crore so far. Combining domestic and overseas earnings, its worldwide gross stands at around ₹315 crore.
With the film continuing its theatrical run, trade estimates suggest ‘Toxic’ could potentially cross the ₹400-crore gross mark if its collections remain steady.
