Varanasi: An indefinite sit-in protest organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) unit, concluded on its 18th day after the university administration accepted all the demands raised by the students.

The protest focused on student welfare, campus security and administrative accountability. Following the administration’s acceptance of the demands, the BHU Vice-Chancellor formally ended the sit-in by offering juice to the protesting students.

The outcome marks the culmination of 18 days of protest, with the students’ unity, the sustained efforts of ABVP activists and their determination highlighted as key factors behind the resolution.

Congratulating the students who participated in the agitation, the ABVP unit extended its best wishes to all those involved in the struggle.
