Bengaluru: Post-monsoon rainfall is likely to continue across several districts of Karnataka until October 29, with a yellow alert issued for multiple districts in the southern interior region, including Bengaluru. The capital is expected to receive rain over the next two days.

On October 24, moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms is forecast in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada. Parts of Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag and Haveri may also receive rain with gusty winds.

The Meteorological Department has forecast the possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in Ramanagara and Chamarajanagar districts.

Moderate rainfall is expected in several southern interior districts, including Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural. Rain is likely to continue in parts of the northern and southern interior regions on October 25 and 26.

From October 27 to 29, isolated places along the coastal region may receive rainfall, while dry weather is expected to prevail across the northern interior.

However, isolated parts of the southern interior region are likely to continue receiving rain through October 29.
