Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Vrushakarma’ to hit screens on December 4
Hyderabad: Naga Chaitanya-starrer mythological thriller ‘Vrushakarma’ is set to hit theatres on December 4, 2026, the makers have announced. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film has already generated buzz with its intriguing premise and striking first looks.
Chaitanya took to X to share the release date, writing, “A mythological spectacle is about to unfold.” The announcement has further raised anticipation among fans.

Veteran actor Jayaram plays Professor Ranganath in the film. The makers have already unveiled his first look, hinting at a significant role in the story.
The title and Chaitanya’s first look were revealed last year on the actor’s birthday. He was seen in a rugged and intense avatar, sporting a muscular physique and a fierce expression.

Meenakshi Chaudhary stars as the female lead, while Laapataa Ladies fame Sparsh Shrivastav plays a key role.
The film has a story by Sukumar, with Neel D Cunha handling cinematography. Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music, while National Award winner Naveen Nooli is in charge of editing. Sri Nagendra Thangala, who worked on Thandel, is the production designer. Produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar, the film is backed by SVCC and Sukumar Writings.
