Raanbali teaser: Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna film takes on British-era oppression
Hyderabad: The teaser of the much-awaited historical action drama ‘Raanbali’, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a story of resistance against British oppression.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is set against the backdrop of the Madras Famine of 1876–1878 and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with the Dussehra festive season.
Titled ‘The Savage’s Oath’, the teaser showcases the brutality of British officers and the suffering of people who rose in rebellion against colonial rule.

The film explores the inhumane conditions faced by local communities during the British era, with the story focusing on their struggle for survival and resistance.
