Chennai: The teaser of ‘Dayangaram’, the directorial debut of popular YouTuber V J Sidhu, who also stars in the film, has been released. The film is targeting a theatrical release during next year’s Sankranti festival.
Produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the Vels Film International banner, the film was completed in 49 days and is currently in post-production.
The technical team includes composer Sidhu Kumar, cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan, editor Pradeep E Raghav and art director Vinoth Rajkumar.
Actor Dhanush had released the film’s announcement video in May last year. The video humorously depicted how Sidhu secured the directorial opportunity from producer Ishari K Ganesh, who reportedly offered him the project after being impressed by his story.
