Tiger Shroff Shooting: Maharashtra CM Fadnavis Hits Back at Opposition
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has criticised the opposition for politicising the shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car, urging its leaders to introspect on incidents that occurred during their tenure in power.
Responding to the opposition’s criticism, Fadnavis referred to the Mansukh Hiren murder case and allegations of money changing hands for transfers and appointments during the previous administration. He also recalled the case involving police officers accused of planting explosives outside the homes of businessmen, asking the opposition to reflect on these incidents before targeting the government over the latest case.

Fadnavis said the public and members of the Bollywood fraternity had confidence in the Mumbai Police. He added that he had spoken to Shroff, reassured him and promised to provide all necessary security.
The Chief Minister said the police were taking steps to track down and arrest those responsible for the shooting. He assured that the accused would be identified at the earliest and appropriate legal action would be taken.
