UP Government Transfers 182 PCS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle by transferring 182 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers across the state.

The transfer orders, issued late on Sunday night, assign new responsibilities to several Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and other administrative officers with immediate effect. The state government said the exercise is aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of district-level administration.

According to the transfer list, Amroha SDM Pushparnath Chaudhary has been transferred to Unnao, while Hathras SDM Loveleet Kaur has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Greater Noida Authority.

Among other key postings, Mithalesh Kumar Tiwari has been posted as SDM of Mainpuri, Gopal Sharma has been transferred to Bareilly, Pratibha Mishra to Kanpur Dehat, and Shubham Yadav to Bulandshahr.

The large-scale reshuffle is part of the Yogi Adityanath government’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and strengthen administrative functioning across Uttar Pradesh.
