Zelenskyy Claims Ukraine Has Liberated More Territory Than Russia Captured Since Autumn Began
Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has claimed that Ukrainian forces have liberated more territory than Russian troops have captured since the beginning of autumn, saying Kyiv’s forces continue to put pressure on Russian units along the front line.
In a statement, Zelenskyy said the trend had also been observed at other points this year, adding that Ukrainian troops were continuing their operations against Russian forces.
He named Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka, Novoandriivka and Velykomykhailivka as areas under Ukrainian control.

Zelenskyy also said Ukrainian forces were defending positions near Kramatorsk and engaging Russian troops around 20 km from Zaporizhzhia. He accused Russian sources of misleading President Vladimir Putin about the situation on the battlefield.
Describing Ukraine’s frontline position as strong, Zelenskyy thanked Ukrainian soldiers and military units for carrying out their assigned tasks.
The territorial claims and battlefield assessments were made by Zelenskyy and have not been independently verified in the statement provided.
