PM Modi hosts Commonwealth Games 2026 medal winners at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hosted India’s medal winners from the Commonwealth Games 2026 at his official residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg and interacted with the athletes about their experiences at the Games.

Modi congratulated the sportspersons for their performances, saying their achievements were a matter of immense pride for the country and would inspire more youngsters to take up sports.

The Prime Minister also shared details of the interaction on X, praising the athletes for making the nation proud through their performances.

“Each one of them has made our nation proud through their exceptional performances. Their success will motivate many youngsters,” Modi said.

The interaction comes as India celebrates the achievements of its athletes on the international sporting stage, with the Prime Minister highlighting the role of sporting success in encouraging the younger generation to pursue competitive sports.
