Hyderabad: The trailer of the upcoming Telugu romantic comedy ‘Oh Sukumari!’, directed by Bharat Darshan, has been released to an enthusiastic response from movie lovers. Popular filmmaker Anil Ravipudi unveiled the trailer on social media and extended his best wishes to the film’s cast and crew.
The trailer introduces Damini, a young woman surrounded by a bizarre belief that anyone who touches her receives an electric shock. Keeping this secret hidden, her family gets her married to the hero. The humorous and unexpected situations that unfold after their marriage form the crux of the film.
Blending an unusual premise with romance, comedy and emotion, director Bharat Darshan appears to have crafted an entertaining family entertainer.
The film stars Aishu Dil and Thiruveer in the lead roles. Cinematography is by CH Kushender, known for Rajakar and Polymera, while music has been composed by Bharat Manchiraju, a former assistant to Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani.
The technical crew also includes Tirumala M. Tirupathi (Balagam) as art director, Sri Varaprasad as editor, Anu Reddy Akkathi as costume designer and Poornachari as lyricist. ‘Oh Sukumari!’ is scheduled to hit theatres on July 17.
