Chennai: The teaser of the much-awaited sports adventure drama ‘Mandadi’, directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendi, has been released, offering a glimpse of an action-packed story set against the backdrop of the sea.
Starring Suri and Telugu actor Suhas in the lead roles, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 10. Production house RS Infotainment announced the teaser release on social media.
The teaser opens with sailors preparing for a boat race and gradually introduces the film’s intense maritime setting. Actor Sathyaraj’s voice-over adds to the impact of the visuals.
Suri is seen portraying a brave and determined sailor, with the film revolving around a challenging competition on the sea and the struggles faced by the participants.
‘Mandadi’ has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and marks Suhas’ Tamil debut. The cast also includes Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Ravindra Vijay, Mithun and Balasaravanan.
Presented as a pan-India film, ‘Mandadi’ will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
