Bantwal: The annual general body meeting of Nagashree Mitra Vrunda Charitable Trust and Nagashree Mathru Vrunda Team for 2025-26 was held at Nagashree Viveka Bhavana in Dhanupooje, Tenkabellur.
During the meeting, the organisation, which has been engaged in social and cultural activities for the past 24 years, presented its annual accounts before conducting the election process for the 2026-27 office-bearers.
Viveka Chaitanyananda Swamiji of Polali Tapovana was chosen as honorary guide, while retired headmaster Ananth Ram Heral was elected honorary president of the trust.
Harish Mudaikodi was elected president, while Thimmappa Kammaje became vice-president. Thirumalesh Bellur was chosen as general secretary, Durga Prasad Kammaje as joint secretary and Thirulesh Bellur as treasurer.
Meanwhile, Soumya Kammaje was elected president of Nagashree Mathru Vrunda, with Latha Dhanupooje as vice-president. Shobhitha Kammaje was elected general secretary, Bhavya Bellur as joint secretary and Divya Bellur as treasurer.
