PM Highlights Youth-Led Development, Says Innovation Ecosystem Driving New India
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday highlighted the government’s focus on youth-led development, saying India’s young population is playing a crucial role in building a strong innovation ecosystem and shaping the country’s future.
In a series of posts on social media, Modi said one of the defining features of the last 12 years has been the confidence with which India’s youth have pursued their ambitions.
He said initiatives including Startup India, Digital India, Skill India and Atal Innovation Mission have created an environment that promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and enterprise.

The Prime Minister said India has emerged as one of the world’s leading startup destinations, with many success stories being driven by young entrepreneurs from smaller towns and villages.
He noted that young Indians are making their mark across diverse sectors including science and technology, manufacturing, space, semiconductors and drone technology.
Modi also praised the contribution of Indian youth in sports, saying young athletes have brought pride to the country through achievements in international competitions.
He added that improved sports infrastructure, stronger support systems and a growing sporting ecosystem are creating new opportunities for aspiring athletes.
The Prime Minister said the energy, talent and innovation of India’s youth will remain central to the country’s growth journey and its vision for the future.
